Treatment
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy offers treatment for musculoskeletal disorders (muscle and joint pain) which are commonly caused by poor posture, sedentary lifestyle or sports injuries.
Physiotherapy can also help with prehabilitation and injury prevention for fitness and sports athletes.
Rehabilitation
Here we focus on progression of exercises which can be in the form of stretching or strengthening.
We can progress your strengthening protocol from isometric to concentric, and eccentric exercises.
We also work on sports specific balance and co-ordindation rehab.
Manual therapy
Treatment includes hands on treatment for spine and joint mobilization. It also includes mild or deep tissue manipulation for tight muscles.
Manual therapy can help reduce muscle tension and pain, improve joint mobility and flexibility and speed up recovery
Taping
Taping is used for muscle injuries, ligament instability and joint pain.
It can also be used for relaxation, muscle activation, swelling & bruising after injury.
Taping is used as an adjunct to your treatment. There is no additional charge for taping.
